The Mapusa JMFC Court has remanded 23-year-old Sahil Hassan Bappu, a resident of Chapora, to eight days of police custody after his arrest in connection with an assault on a tourist from Telangana.
According to police, the incident occurred at Dabhol Waddo, Chapora, where the accused allegedly attacked the tourist with a sharp weapon. The victim sustained injuries, and further investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the assault.
