A new polling booth has been set up at Jnyan Vikas School in Nova Cidade Enclave, for the benefit of voters of Alto-Pilerne (Porvorim).
In a press note, Pilerne-Marra Talathi Ramdas Salgaonkar has stated that voters of Alto-Pilerne, which included areas like Nova Cidade Enclave and PDA colony, earlier had to go to the Government Primary School, Mainem-Pilerne to exercise their franchise.
For the benefit of voters, listed in Part 19 & Part 20 of 7 Saligao Constituency, covering the area of PDA Colony, Nova Cidade Enclave, and all the surrounding areas of Alto Pillerne within the jursidiction of Pillerne Panchayat, a new polling booth has been installed at Jnyan Vikas School, Nova Cidade Enclave, Alto-Pillerne (Porvorim), stated Salgaonkar.
