PANJIM: The Crime Branch seized 8.75 grams of MDMA from Obineri Udoko Anthony alias Tony, at Arambol. The Nigerian, was also found illegally staying in the country. The Crime Branch seized 15½ pink colour tablets, suspected to be psychotropic substance ecstasy tablets weighing 8.750 gms, a cell phone and a two-wheeler from his possession.
The accused was later produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Pernem, who remanded him in five days police custody. Further interrogation is in progress, police said.
