Pernem Police have arrested Joseph Osuagwu Kelechi, a 40-year-old Nigerian national residing in Pethechawada, Korgao, for allegedly possessing a variety of narcotic substances.
According to officials, the accused was found with 13 Ecstasy tablets weighing 3.66 grams, 23.88 grams of charas, cash amounting to ₹9,600, and a scooter. The total value of the seized items is estimated at around ₹1.05 lakh.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the source of the drugs and whether more individuals are involved in the alleged trafficking network.
