MARGAO: Fatorda Police registered a case of outraging the modesty of a woman against Rahul Goud, resident of Marcela in Ponda following a complaint lodged by Ashwini Mhardolkar, who is also a resident of Marcela, Ponda.
The complainant and the accused are both fish vendors who come to Margao wholesale fish market to purchase fish which they then sell in Ponda. As per the complaint, on September 29 at around 5 am Rahul made indecent gestures and used vulgar comments against her at the wholesale fish market.
