VASCO: In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old youth died while, three others fell unconscious after a gas leak from LPG cylinder at Fakir Galli in Vasco, early Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Bind, 21, a native of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The other three are undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Bambolim.

According to the information given by the police, a group of eight persons had arrived in the State from Ghaziabad district of Varanasi in search of work on Friday.
On Sunday, when a group of four persons woke up in the morning, they found that the other group was still sleeping and knocked the door but found no response. After trying for a long time, they alerted the locals, who broke open the door and found four persons lying unconscious and motionless and that the room was full of gas leakage. Vasco police rushed all four persons to the Sub-District Hospital at Chicalim, where doctors declared Sanjay Bind brought dead and referred the other three persons to GMC.
