PANJIM, SEPT 8
A confrontation between a group of youth in the Panjim municipal market on Wednesday evening, saw one injured and four arrests.
According to Panjim police, trouble broke out when Salim accompanied with Ganesh alias Bulli, both residents of Chimbel indulged in a heated argument with Kaif Nawabsab, which resulted in a brawl.
A fourth person – Adil Pathan of St Inez entered the fight scene to settle the issue but he was whacked and slightly injured. No weapons were used in the fight.
All four were arrested under preventive measure. The police revealed that Kaif often threatened Salim over the phone which resulted in a physical fight.
