Addressing BJP workers meeting at the Taleigao Community Centre, Fadnavis hit out at the Opposition saying though Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to take the nation forward, the Opposition had changed its strategy by trying to create division among the people.

Speaking further he said anarchist forces were trying to create a false narrative among the people and trying to sow negativity. He labelled these forces as anti-democratic and anti-constitutional. “Opposition is creating anarchy in society. We have to fight against such divisive forces. Opposition wants to weaken democracy and the country,” he said.

He also hit out at the Congress for opposing the implementation of the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir and for opposition reservations for SC and ST communities in Jammu and Kashmir.

“We have to fight against these regressive forces,” he told the gathering.
