CURCHOREM: The Palm Sunday was observed at Guardian Angel Church, Curchorem-Sanvordem with Eucharistic celebration and prayers.
During the Eucharistic celebration in the morning, the Assistant Parish Priest Fr Ronaldo Fernandes blessed the palm fronds, which was later distributed among the faithful.
During his short sermon Fr Fernandes urged the faithful to carry their own Cross with love as how Jesus carried and died on it for the love of every human.
Later in the evening, devotees along with Parish Priest Fr Vithal Miranda, Fr Fernandes, sisters and members of confraria participated in a procession reciting rosary and Lenten hymns with the images of Jesus Christ and Mother Mary re-enacting the ‘Passion of Christ’ followed by Veronica song sung by Delcy Fernandes.
