PANJIM: In a major relief, the State government has extended the deadline for submission of Life Certificate by February 2021, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also, now the pensioners can submit the Life Certificate online from home through Jeevan Pramaan portal without physically going to the banks.

Sources informed that the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, Government of India, has extended the deadline from November 1 to February 2021in view of COVID-19.
Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioners. A pensioner can submit Life Certificate digitally from home by attaching an UIDAI authenticated biometric device to personal computer or mobile.
