Union Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik has said that he does not have any personal opinion on the naming of the Mopa International Airport. He said the govt would take an appropriate decision on naming the airport. Personal opinion does not matter, he added. A controversy has arisen over the naming of the Mopa airport with a section of people from Pernem saying it should be named after Goa’s first chief Minister Dayanand Bandodkar.
