PETA India and DSPCA Conduct Training on Animal Protection Laws and Bullfights in South Goa

PETA India, led by Mr. Meet Ashar, in collaboration with the District Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) – South Goa, recently organised a Training and Sensitization Programme on Animal Protection Laws and Bullfights. The event was held at the South Goa Collectorate and aimed at raising awareness about animal welfare and legal safeguards.

The programme focused on educating participants about existing laws governing animal protection, with a special emphasis on bullfighting practices, their legal implications, and ethical considerations. Officials from DSPCA and representatives from PETA India engaged attendees through discussions and practical demonstrations, highlighting the need for responsible treatment of animals.
