PONDA: Demanding stoppage of slaughter houses all over the country, Punjab Goraksha Dal (PGD) on Sunday warned of aggressive steps if slaughter houses are not stopped by December 2014.
Satish Pradhan, Founder president of PGD said this on the fourth day of the 2nd All India Hindu convention at Ramnathi-Ponda, and added that time has come to use weapons to protect nation, dharma and traditions.
He said, “Hindu dharma, nation, traditions and the sacred cow are on the verge of annihilation. When the state of affairs is going from bad to worse, it is high time we use weapons to protect the nation, dharma and our traditions.”
He said if the government fails to shut down all slaughter houses in the country by December 2014, the PGD will shut them through its proposals.”
Shriram Sena President Pramod Muthalik, who still envisages starting a Goa unit of his organisation said policy of punishment is necessary to prevent perversions.
He said due to his agitation against the western perversion of ‘day’ culture, 72 pubs in Karnataka shut down and that Valentine’s Day celebration reduced by 40 per cent. “In Mangalore, not a single girl visits a pub,” said Muthalik. He said many women organisations have congratulated them on this account.
