VASCO: A strange picture of Navy Chopper suspected to be near St Andrew’s Church in Vasco gone viral in social media and left WhatsApp users confused on Thursday. The Picture that apparently shows a Navy Chopper on the road during night, left people debating online with the surprise as to whether it was really was an incident where the chopper made emergency landing on the road or just some old good computer special effects picture at play
As the issue had already gone viral in social media leaving people of port town questioning as to what made the chopper to land on the road, herald tried to investigate the truth and found that the picture was actually real however the facts mentioned on the social media was little incorrect.
According to the Sources in Vasco traffic cell, the Chopper onboard a naval ship had developed some snag and thus the concern officials requested the Vasco traffic cell to provide assistance so that the chopper can be towed to INS Hansa from MPT via road. Complying to the request, Team of traffic police provided traffic assistance and Navy officials towed the chopper to INS Hansa during night to avoid any inconvenience to general public.
