During the discussion, Modi conveyed deep concern over the loss of civilian lives and the damage to civilian infrastructure caused by the ongoing conflict in the region. He emphasised that the safety and security of Indian nationals remain a top priority for the government.

Reaffirming India’s longstanding position, Modi reiterated the country’s commitment to peace and stability in the region and called for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the conflict. He stressed that diplomatic engagement remains the best path forward to de-escalate tensions and restore stability.
