PERNEM: In connection with the recent tragedy involving the death of four students, Pernem police booked the management, principal and three teachers Cliferd Nemos, Melroy Mascarenhas and Inacio of Don Bosco Boarding School, Tuem under section 304 A IPC and section 8 of Children Act.
It maybe recalled that last Saturday, the boys met a watery grave when they drowned in a laterite quarry located a km away from the school. 43 students along with three teachers had gone for trekking. When the students saw the water that was accumulated in the quarry, six students went to wash their legs and hand and allegedly slipped off.
Only two students were successfully rescued.
