PONDA: Ponda BJP Chief Shantaram Colvekar and Ponda Municipal Council Chairperson Vishwanath Davli rejected the allegations of Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar that the BJP is stealing the MGP councillors.
Dalvi said, “Dhavalikar is frustrated as people are joining BJP looking at work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
He said, “The two councillors are attracted to BJP looking at work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also originally they were in BJP.
They are elected on their own and not on MGP support.”
He also refuted the charges that the BJP would reduce to single digit in the 2022 Assembly election. Due to remarkable work the BJP is doing, once again the party will come to power in 2022.
“Dhavalikar out of frustrations is making allegations against the BJP. Dictatorship and family ‘raj’ prevails in the MGP. There is no scope for other party workers. Past many years Deepak Dhavalikar is holding the post of party president depriving other party leaders like Lavoo Mamlatdar and Pandurang Raut,” he added.
