VASCO: President of Mormugao Port Tourist Taxi Union (MPTTU) has said that Urban Development Milind Naik is capable of solving the issue at the Harbour cruise terminal better than any other legislator and that Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho must stress more on taxi affairs of Dabolim Airport in his Constituency.
Tourist taxi operators at harbour said that the transport minister has been given wrong picture of the situation at the cruise terminal by few people and Godinho should have done a reality check before making any statements.
On Wednesday morning, around 216 taxi operators affiliated to Mormugao Port Tourist Taxi Union (MPTTU) in a press conference condemned the claims made by Mormugao United group about the tourist taxi business at the Cruise terminal harbour.
Later on Sunday morning, MPTTU delegation met Urban Development Minister Milind Naik and submitted a memorandum.
MPTTU President Sanjay Kanoji said that Minister Naik is capable of solving the issue at the cruise terminal and that Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho must focus more on taxi affairs of Dabolim Airport in his Constituency.
