PANJIM: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Sunday announced its association with Goa government in starting PPP model to take care of home isolated patients who are asymptomatic COVID-19 positive.

A press statement issued by the IMA Goa State informs that its president will have access to dashboard which will have details of home isolated patients in detail.
“He in turn will have a system internally amongst 7 branches of IMA Goa State at Margao, Mormugao, Bardez, Tiswadi, Bicholim, Ponda and CQS (Curchorem Quepem and Sanguem). Around 150 doctors have consented to give voluntary telephonic consultations to these home isolated patients,” it states.
The doctors will also give details of contents of IMA kit which contains pulse oxymeter, thermometer, Vit C, paracetamol, zinc, Vit D tablets plus waste collection bags and sodium hypochlorite solution and its availability for Rs 2,500.
Any loopholes are found will be plugged immediately as it is for the first time something like this has been undertaken by association. The IMA has sought support of the people in taking this project forward in the larger interest of the Goans.
