MAYEM: PWD Minister Sudin Dhavlikar has stated that social and cultural organizations have the responsibility to protect the culture of the State.
He was speaking at a function to mark the first anniversary of ‘Bilwadal Sanstha’ Sanquelim at Radhakrishna Murlidhar Sansthan, Sanquelim.
Sanquelim MLA Dr Pramod Sawant highlighted the efforts made by the Bilwadal Sanstha in the field of art and culture.
He said the proposed Ravindra Bhavan will be inaugurated within two months which will support the promotion of cultural heritage in the area.
On the occasion, novelist Gurunath Naik was awarded ‘Sankhali Bhushan’ by Dhavlikar for his achievement in the field of writing.
