SANGUEM: The PWD on Monday repaired the drinking water pipeline at Nondurlem-Sanguem which had ruptured on Saturday.
“This is the fourth pipeline burst at the same place this month,” informed a local Suryaji Gaonkar and claimed that the old cement pipeline is subject to frequent bursts. “The existing cement pipes need to be replaced with plastic ones,” claimed Gaonkar.

The affected pipeline supplies drinking water to Ambdoi ward of Sanguem Municipal Council.
The residents claimed that they are face drinking water problems on regular basis due to the weak pipeline.
