Some people outside the assembly went up to him in the outer corridors, after a Chief Minister’s tirade against NGOs and activists, and remembered how Diggubab was called even when there was a power breakdown in someone’s home and he the chief minister would send the local lineman to check.
Activists too could walk into his chamber anytime, leaving him flummoxed but he was ever gracious.
