At the brief gram sabha meeting, the bad conditions of roads in the village were highlighted and the panchayat was asked to inquire about the same with the PWD and take measures to resolve the situation.
After the minutes of the previous meeting was confirmed, the pancahyat told the gram sabha members about their decision to revoke the construction licence to the 85-room hotel project and that the process had been started. However the panchayat refrained from discussing the matter at length stating that the matter was now subjudice given that the hotel had filed a petition in the high Court and had made the panchayat a party in the case that challenged the decision of the Town and Country Planning Department (TCP) to revoke the construction license. It maybe recalled that the panchayat decided to revoke the construction license after the TCP revoked the technical clearance.
In 2014, a special gram sabha unanimously passed a resolution asking the pancahyat to revoke the licence.
on detailed technical grounds including the size of the approach road which was the bases of TCP revoking the clearance.
