A 30-year-old woman from Dhatwada in Vante-Sattari died of injuries in the GMC hospital on Thursday, after she had accidentally got burnt at her residence.
According to Valpoi police, Suvarna Atmaram Pilekar had sustained 50 per cent burn injuries on December 26 while she was cooking food. She was married one-and-half years ago.
Since the death had occurred within seven years of her marriage, PI Shivram Vainganker conducted the panchanama.
