According to police, Molu Gaonkar of Gulem had parked his scooter (GA-09-F-6114) and entered Bhumipurush temple at Gulem on Sunday morning. However, when he returned in five minutes, his two-wheeler was found missing.
Gaonkar immediately informed the police, who flashed messages across the State. Cuncolim police intercepted the accused, Sandeep Krishnaprasad Daytatray, riding the stolen scooter at Cuncolim.
The accused was produced before JMFC Canacona on Monday, who remanded the accused to 11 days
police custody.
