PANJIM: The second accused in the Vijaya Pagi rape and murder case, Vikas Saw was brought to Goa from his native place in Bihar and produced before a judicial magistrate for remand on Thursday.
Saw, who had purchased a stolen mobile phone belonging to the deceased Pagi was arrested by a team of Goa crime branch and brought to Goa on transit remand. Main accused Ram Bharose had sold the phone to Saw for Rs 1,000.
Bharose is accused raping the victim twice after killing her at Canacona on January 31. He was arrested by a special core team and subsequently confessed to have committed the crime.
