PONDA: Governor Dr Mridula Sinha inaugurated the Golden Jubilee Year celebration of Sharada English High School at Durbhat. She appealed the teachers and parents to provide proper guidance and education and ensure that students respect elders and teachers.
Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik, PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, Secretary of Sharada High School Pradeep Shet, Dr Anant Naik, Vinayak Naik, Chandrakant Fadte, Sarpanch of Durbhat Saroja Naik and Headmaster Venktesh Chanekar were present.
The programme began with inauguration of two new classrooms at the hands of the Governor. Various programmes were held to mark the celebration.
