MARGAO: Margao Shigmotsav Samiti will hold float parade on Sunday from Colva Circle to Lake Plaza. The parade will begin at 3 pm. The government approved committee has decided to go ahead with the parade as there are no orders from government for not holding the Shigmo parade.

An entertainment programme “Lavani Taraka” was held on Saturday at Ana Fonte Garden. As a part of the villagers’ ritual, Naman was held at Pimpalkata.
The necessary security arrangements have been done as per the directions of District Collector, South Goa and Superintendent of Police. The entries will be accepted on the spot at the respective counter from 10 am opposite Inox. Fancy dress entries of senior category will be accepted near the SGPDA Market and junior category will be accepted near the main stage.
