To fight for rights of unemployed

VASCO: Shiv Sena, Goa branch, is all set to establish its ‘Lok Adhikari Samithi’ in Goa on November 23.
Shiv Sena leader Gajanan Kerkar will inaugurate the Lok Adhikari Samithi at Mapusa in the presence of Rajya Sabha MP Anil Desai and North Goa MP Shripad Naik.
Addressing a news conference, Sudesh Bhise said that Lok Adhikari Samithi is all over the country and in Goa, they will inaugurate it on November 23.
“The main purpose of establishing the samithi is to fight for the rights of unemployed Goan youth. In Mumbai, the Samithi members not only fight to provide jobs for the locals in various factories and companies, but also help people in need of medical aid,” said Bhise.
Bhise further said in Goa, the Samithi members will create awareness among the youth about job opportunities and organise workshops to impart knowledge how to answer various exams relating to banking, insurance sector and other factory-related works.
“The committee members will visit all the factories in Goa and urge the management to absorb Goan youth and will also train unskilled workers so that they can progress further in their respective fields,” he added.
“We will fight for the right of each and every Goan and will take up with the government to direct the industries which are going to set up in Goa to provide job opportunities to Goans,” stated Bhise.
“Our Samithi will also help those in need of medical aid
in other states, especially in Mumbai where most Goans prefer to go for better treatment,” said Bhise.
Another Samithi member, Anand Shirgoakar, urged Goans to join the Samithi to fight for their cause. “The Samithi will conduct training for unemployed youth so that after completing the training they can get employed in the industries that are in Goa,” he added.
