PANJIM: The annual Utsavam at Vasco Ayyappa Temple will conclude on January 21 with Shobayatra.
The procession will start at 5.30 pm from the Hanuman Temple, Baina and will pass through Vasco to the Ayyappa temple at Mangor. The procession will be led by a group of artistes from Kerala who will perform folk dances such as pookavadiyattam, peacock dance, bandvadyam etc. The procession will reach Ayyappa Temple, Mangor at 10 pm. “Parayidal” (offering of paddy to Lord Ayyappa ) will be held at the temple and the 8-day long utsavam will end with Kotiyirakkal.
