St Cruz MLA demands community hall at Merces
PANJIM (HR):?St Cruz MLA Victoria Fernandes, through a private member’s resolution, recommended that a modern community hall with all necessary facilities be built at Merces.
She said modern community hall is needed in Merces which is famous for its craft and sports talents. It has been identified as census town but does not have a community hall for public functions, cultural programmes and other creative activities.
PWD Minister Churchill Alemao asked her to submit a proposal and her demand would be met. The resolution was withdrawn on assurance given by the minister.
