MARGAO: The Rumdamol Davorlim gram sabha, presided over by Sarpanch S Pathan, saw members demanding that the panchayat immediately take up pre-monsoon works.
Villagers expressed apprehension that delay in starting the cleaning of gutters could lead to flooding of residential area. Villagers also raised objection on concrete misers being parked on the play ground by the sarpanch and demanded that the ground be kept open for the local youth to play. Objection was also raised over construction of a three floor building as villager alleged that the said construction was causing water logging in the area.
Villagers demanded that panchayat should act to see that the garden area in the village is kept clean alleging that no attention was being given by the body.
