MARGAO: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Goa incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao urged the frontal heads to ensure that the Congress Party was strengthened in every constituency and spread the party ideology.
Speaking during the virtual meeting with the party’s frontal organisations, he said that the Congress Party in Goa has a mass base.

As informed by the Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat AICC in-charge has directed Mahila Congress to connect with the women community and address the issues concerning rise in prices of LPG cylinders, atrocities on women, failure of the BJP government to give timely aid to the widows, senior citizens, etc.
Rao has also given clear directions to all the four frontal organization heads to play a key role in ensuring that Congress Party wins people’s trust and confidence. He asked all frontal chiefs to undertake tour programmes in various constituencies.
Besides, he has instructed the Youth Congress to continue with their good work of helping the COVID patients with oxygen and other support, but at the same time asked them to keep a close watch on the misdeeds of the BJP government and raise voice against illegalities. He said Goan youths are frustrated due to unemployment.
He has also instructed all frontals to complete the reorganization of block committees by July 15 and urged them to strengthen the social media team and to identify issues of the people and be the voice of the people.
Interacting with the NSUI Team, Dinesh Rao has urged them to take up issues of hardships faced by students in their career, especially on the failure of the government in coming out with a proper academic plan.
GPCC President Girish Chodankar, Co-ordination Committee Chairman Ramakant Khalap, Mahila Congress President Beena Naik, Youth Congress President Varad Mardolkar, Seva Dal Chief Shankar Kirlaparkar, NSUI President Naushad Chaudhary, and GPCC VP M K Shaikh participated in the meeting and shared their views and suggestions in view of the strategy for going to polls with confidence.
Meanwhile, Dinesh Gundu Rao is arriving in the State on a four-day visit from Thursday, June 17.
