The Cuncolim police on Friday brought for interrogations some persons from Panjim in connection with the girl shooting case.
Though a police team picked up the persons for questioning, Cuncolim PI Nelson Albuquerque said the persons were brought only for the purpose of interrogations and nothing concrete has emerged from their questioning.
“The police are probing into several angles. Till now, we are leaving nothing to chance and are pursuing the suspects named by the victim’s mother”, PI Albuqerque.
He said the police has so far recorded the statements of several persons, including the friends of the victim girl and her friend from Agassaim and Calangute.
The police, however, has not achieved any breakthrough in the case and is presently working on the leads collected so far.
