Street lights are meant to brighten up roads after dusk. Many a times nobody cares to switch them off. I was given to understand that recent LED street lights were installed to save electricity but many a times they are not switched on till 8 in the morning.
Secondly these street lights if once out of order, have to be sent to workshop which takes months to repair. Earlier our linesman used to change the tube and there was light. Today, even after complaining nothing works.

Nonworking lights should be immediately fixed. Young people should be trained to repair such lights instead of giving it to some workshop and in this way we can generate some employment through this.
