Recently a flat was
burgled in Mungul area falling under Margao jurisdiction. The cops brought a
sniffer dog and when the owners asked them to at least point out in which
direction the burglars escaped, they retorted by saying that the dog cannot
talk so obviously they wouldn’t know. They proceeded to say that they could
find finger prints only if there were any on glass. Besides, they can’t point
out suspects because they know of none in the vicinity. They then proceeded to
urge the owners to close the case.
