VASCO: Cash about Rs 80,000 was stolen from a company at Verna. According to Verna Police, B P Singh, company plant manager at Verna, complained that some persons entered his office between 8 pm on August 11 and 9 am on August 12, and stole cash of Rs 80,677 from the safe locker. PSI Anand Shirodkar is investigating the case.
PERNEM: A native of Bijapur, but residing at Aronda-Pernem, was caught red-handed while allegedly stealing brass Samai from the Garbhakudi of the Brahma Temple in Pernem.
According to Pernem Police, Rajendra Palyekar of Kiranpani-Palye complained that on Monday, accused Raju Devidas Ingle was caught red handed while stealing brass Samai.
