“Support comes from all unexpected places and makes a lot difference,” he said recollecting his past how his school principal Fr Coelho supported him to represent the Karnataka U-15 Team when his parents were worried about his academics. “You don’t have to be No 1 in the world, but No 1 to yourself,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Birla said: “One must strive for the best in the ferocious world and we need to keep in constant update of our knowledge. Learning is a life-long process and one should learn from the mentors at work place,” he said stressing the need of education in day-to-day life.
