MARGAO: Margao Police have registered a case of a missing person following a complaint from a tourist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu stating that his 22-year-old wife went missing from Gandhi Market, at around 2 pm, on April 29.
Apparently, the couple had come to Goa and arrived in Vasco on April 28, from where they shifted to Colva and were living in a hotel there. On April 29, the couple came to Margao for shopping and when they arrived at Gandhi Market, the wife reportedly told the husband to shop on one side while she wanted to do some private shopping on the other side.

After about an hour, the husband began looking for his wife and did not find her anywhere and hence lodged a complaint. The police informed that the wife had left her mobile with the husband and the last call made by her was to her mother.
