Traffic congestion at Margao Hospicio

We had gone to visit a patient at Hospicio. The circle near the hospital gets very congested with traffic. While we were at the junction at 7.15 pm, there was all commotion with traffic jam and no traffic police around. Vehicles were seen rushing, everybody seemed to be in a hurry. Nobody bothered to give way to other vehicles. It being a peak hour, the presence of traffic police is a must. The authority concerned should urgently look into the matter.
Garbage along the airport road

The whole of India is busy with the mission of Swachh Bharat to clean the garbage. Though we claim to be clean, the garbage in most of the areas is still lying untouched and that too on the Airport highway near MES College junction.
People still throw garbage in the open places near the highway despite awareness. Cattle grazing at the garbage dump sites create more risk of causing road accidents at the MES junction. I believe government should increase the number of garbage bins and there should be garbage collection and disposal system on daily basis. I appeal to the authorities to take immediate action at the earliest.
