Chapora: Empty bottles, plastic bags were found littered all around and the entrance of Chapora fort. This even though there are bins placed at the fort, which are overflowing with discarded waste materials though.
There are several stalls before the climb to the fort and here too, there are plastic bottles thrown by the public, who share the blame for the present mess. Locals have also blamed the authorities for not maintaining the cleanliness of the premises.

“There are dustbins but they are overflowing. Plastic is thrown all around which needs to be cleaned up. There are stalls but the people operating these stalls are not maintaining the place. These dustbins are old and small,” a local added.
