MAPUSA: Two shops and a residence were damaged at Pernem when a truck laden with three generators rammed into them.
According to sources, the accident occurred on Tuesday when the driver was proceeding to Maharashtra from Tuem. The driver lost control at the sharp turn near the Bhagwati Temple and rammed into a building, damaging two shops and a residence.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Pernem Police conducted the panchanama. The driver, who sustained injuries, is undergoing treatment in the North Goa District Hospital.
