Two Goans appointed Addl Judges to Bombay HC

Two Goans- Adv Valmiki Menezes and Arun Pednekar – have been appointed as Additional Judges to the Bombay High Court.

PANJIM: Two Goans- Adv Valmiki Menezes and Arun Pednekar – have been appointed as Additional Judges to the Bombay High Court.

The two Goans are among the nine lawyers whose names were notified by the Union Law Ministry on 

Saturday. 

The others are Kishore Chandrakant Sant, Kamal Rashmi Khata, Sharmila Uttamrao Deshmukh, Sandeep Vishnupant Marne, Gauri Vinod Godse, Rajesh Shantram Patil and Arif 

Saleh Doctor.

The names were cleared by the Supreme Court in February, this year. 

While Menezes is 

practicing in the Goa Bench of Bombay High Court, Pednekar is practicing in the Supreme Court in Delhi.
