Two persons were injured in a road accident involving three vehicles near the Hira petrol pump in Panjim on Tuesday. The mishap involved a Tamil Nadu-registered car, a taxi and a scooter, leading to injuries to the scooter rider and the taxi driver.
According to sources, the collision occurred in the busy Panjim area, causing temporary disruption to traffic. Emergency services were rushed to the spot, and the injured were promptly shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC) for medical treatment.

The condition of the injured persons is reported to be stable. Police reached the scene soon after the accident and have initiated further inquiry to ascertain the exact cause of the collision. Traffic was later restored after the vehicles were cleared from the road.
