Underground power cable project for Mapusa

MAPUSA: Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza on Tuesday stated that the issue of both high and low tension lines will be resolved soon as the State government has sanctioned underground power cable project worth Rs 117 crore for Mapusa.

The MLA also said that various important projects worth Rs 140 crore has been sanctioned including the Tar Bridge and foundation stone will be laid on November 29, by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.

D’Souza said, “After the by-poll election I got two years and due to COVID-19 pandemic, the developmental works were affected as the focus was shifted to the health of people.”
