MARGAO: Margao Town Police today arrested 38 year old Anil Kumar who is a native of Uttar Pradesh for rash and negligent driving and culpable homicide following a fatal accident caused by the truck that was driven by Anil.
At around 9.50 am as the truck was proceeding towards the Konkan Railway Station at Rawanfond in front of Nalanda Apartments the accident occurred wherein an unknown person apparently came under the rear wheel of the truck and died on the spot.
Police on being informed followed the truck and stopped it as it was proceeding to the District Library and arrested the driver Anil who is booked under sections 279 and o304-A of the Indian Penal Code for rash and negligent driving and culpable homicide.
