In a chilling development, Mapusa Police have detained Satya Nabarangpura (50) and his son Thabir (31), both migrant workers from Odisha, for the brutal murder of a fellow labourer at a construction site in Parra.

The victim’s body was discovered with gruesome injuries, including deep slashes to the head and neck, and mutilation of the genitals, suggesting extreme violence and possible intent to torture.

The incident sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting swift police action. Acting on leads, a team led by PI Nikhil Palekar launched an intensive search and found the accused duo hiding in a field near the crime scene.
