Vande Mataram Resolution to Be Discussed in Today’s Winter Assembly Session: Sudin Dhavalikar

A discussion on the Vande Mataram resolution is scheduled to take place during today’s Winter Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly, with Minister Sudin Dhavalikar emphasising the importance of such deliberations across the country.

Speaking to the media, Dhavalikar said that the discussion on Vande Mataram should be held in every Legislative Assembly in all states. “Everyone who wants to take the nation forward must have pride in it,” the minister stated, underlining the symbolic and national significance of the resolution.

Responding to questions raised by the media on the issue of hill cutting in Goa, Dhavalikar said that such activities have been carried out by successive governments in different ways. He added that several practices initiated by previous regimes are still continuing and need to be stopped. “We are trying to stop them, and it will be done today or tomorrow,” the minister assured.

The minister’s remarks come amid ongoing discussions on environmental concerns and legislative priorities during the Winter Assembly session.
