Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar has stressed the need for all members to strictly adhere to the rules of the House and cooperate in ensuring its smooth functioning. Responding to questions on recent disruptions in the Assembly, the Speaker described the incident as unruly behaviour that does not deserve prolonged discussion.

“Whatever was done yesterday was unruly behaviour, and that is why it should not be discussed much,” Dr. Gaonkar said, referring to the actions of the opposition.
