PANJIM: In order to check on the progress of the Vasco rape case, Goa Su-Raj Party (GSRP) representatives met with the new CBI-Goa unit director and discussed in detail the progress of the Vasco rape case. Post discussion, the CBI-Director has scheduled another meeting with the investigating team next week to understand progress on the case.
Speaking on the meeting with CBI, Savio Rodrigues, Secretary and President (Youth Affairs), elucidated, “We expressed our points of view on the case and inquired about the progress of this case in particular whether the CBI was not getting any support from the government as reported in the media.
The CBI Director assured us of the commitment of his team to solve this crime.” He said he will have a meeting with the investigating team and understand the progress of the case and also share details of the case that the GSRP team shared with him and will also schedule a meeting, sometime next week, he said.
